We are a UK based innovative lampshade workshop specialising in lampshades for the pendant light fitting standard in all UK homes. This requires a lampshade fixing hole diameter of 27.5mm (for the UK standard bayonet fixing bulbs) whereas European light fittings eg IKEA all have a 41mm dia hole to accommodate the large Edison Screw fixing bulbs.
With the advent of Low Energy light bulbs, that run considerably cooler than the older incandescent bulbs, a wide range of materials can now be used for lampshades.
We hope to bring out many unusual cool designs for lampshades, initially fabricated from standard household items. Please contact us if you have an idea for a lampshade!
